About

They say your accomplishments, occupation, or role in society shouldn’t define who you are as a person, but Charity Choice Invitational Meet Directors Sandy and Sarah Flores truly believe that this event and their role in the gymnastics community define who they are. Their mission is to blur the lines of gymnastics rivalry through hospitality, humanitarianism, and togetherness.

Charity Choice Invitational is not JUST another gymnastics meet, it’s a chance for us to make a difference.

The idea is simple: we’re already gathering for the competition, why not positively impact the world while we’re at it? Charity Choice offers a unique competition format to the gymnastics community. Every team competes on behalf of a charity of their choice and has the opportunity to earn donations for their organization through their representation and team and individual accolades. Since 2011, Charity Choice has donated over $275,000 to various charities in the name of the hardworking athletes and coaches who participate in our event.

Eventually your gymnastics career ends, but the life lessons you take away from the sport last a lifetime.

Discipline, dedication, persistence, confidence, responsibility and teamwork. No matter what level of gymnastics you end your career at, you are guaranteed to learn these valuable life lessons. Charity Choice Invitational strives to add to those values by instilling altruism, selflessness, generosity, and community, and love into everyone who partakes in the event. The gymnasts and coaches who participate realize they are competing on behalf of something far beyond themselves; suddenly the leotards, medals, and trophies aren’t as important as the impact we are making on this world. Many teams have been inspired by Charity Choice to raise awareness outside of the competition and fundraise year-round, bringing our combined donations to close to $1 million. Speechless.

A recipe for success.

Sandy and Sarah’s competition model has proven successful over the last 10 years of competition and the proof is in the details. Year after year, they take the time to guarantee participants are provided first-rate atmosphere, equipment, judges, hospitality, vendors, coaches’ entertainment, smooth and efficient competition sessions, gifts for the gymnasts, and more. The quality of Charity Choice Invitational has attracted the attention of the Nastia Liukin Cup and has been recognized as an official Nastia Liukin Cup Qualifier 8 times. Charity Choice 2023 will once again be a qualifier for 1 Junior and 1 Senior Level 10 Athlete. The greatness lies within the details, however, we couldn’t do this without you- the volunteers, judges, gymnasts, coaches, parents, vendors- your encouragement and attendance complete the recipe for success. We look forward to continuing to serve the gymnastics community and beyond for many more years to come. See you under the umbrellas!
